What will you do with us at NYAB Infrastructure?As a site manager in the Piteå operational area, you are the extended arm of the site manager in the daily work. You lead skilled workers and subcontractors and are responsible for keeping the roads safe and in good condition for traffic.
The work is varied – no day is the same. It can involve replacing a culvert, repairing potholes in the asphalt, or ensuring that snow removal resources are deployed on time. The position includes being on call one week per month.
Your main responsibilities:
Lead the daily road maintenance and coordinate skilled workers and subcontractors
Plan and be responsible for daily production
Handle purchases and orders together with the site manager
Maintain contact with customers, suppliers, and authorities
Be responsible for work environment, risk assessments, and work preparations
Handle deviations and drive improvement work
Ensure that the work follows NYAB's safety regulations and the requirements of the Swedish Transport Administration.
This is a position at NYAB Infrastructure in the Piteå area.
We are looking for:We are looking for a site manager who wants a varied work role where no day is the same. Whether it is replacing a culvert or repairing holes in the ground, or ensuring that snow removal resources can operate. Engagement and drive are the most important factors for thriving and succeeding with us. You are a team player who enjoys collaborating but are also comfortable working independently when required. You are confident and calm in making your own decisions and have experience working in a busy environment. We also see that you live in the local area to facilitate on-call duties.
You have:Several years of experience in road operation and maintenance
Experience in leading personnel
Good communication skills and a structured approach to work
Driver's license B
Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
Driver's license C
Experience in construction work
Experience in repair and maintenance of machinery
Operator's license for wheel loader
Driver's license for chainsaw/brush cutter
Work on roads (APV 1.1–1.3, 2.1, 2.2)
TRV training (VVIS, ATK, VVH)
