The Purchaser position is part of the Machine unit, which operates throughout Sweden and is tasked with providing machine services for construction projects and maintenance of the railway network. To succeed in this, the Machine unit has a large fleet consisting of various rail vehicles and technical equipment for construction, track adjustment, snow removal, overhead line maintenance, track maintenance, transportation, etc. The maintenance of the machines is carried out at Infranord's own maintenance workshops located across the country.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Purchaser Machine, you will primarily be responsible for purchasing spare parts for our machine workshops.

Within the Machine unit, there are two other Purchasers with whom you will communicate and collaborate continuously in your tasks, contributing to Infranord's overall objectives regarding safety, profitability, and efficiency.

The role of Purchaser for machine spare parts is an independent and business-oriented work with a focus on operations. The work is conducted in close collaboration with internal customers, workshop colleagues, and managers. You will thus work with, for example, purchasing documentation, searching for new cost-effective stable suppliers that can meet our need for spare parts, negotiating, and evaluating suppliers.

You will be part of a driven and appreciated team that both enjoys working together and constantly works to create added value and increased quality for the company as a whole. You will report to the Maintenance Manager for Machines. As a Purchaser at Infranord, you are an important part of building a culture focused on safety, working environment, and good customer interaction.

The location for the position is Boden, Hallsberg, or Gothenburg.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with 2-3 years of experience in qualified purchasing work within vehicle maintenance and/or construction activities, as well as experience from similar purchasing categories. Good knowledge of purchasing in the SAP business system is an advantage.

You have a high school education or professional experience that we consider equivalent. Since the position involves coordination, some project management experience and the ability to plan and prioritize both daily and long-term work are required. A success factor for the role is that you are structured, good at communicating to build trust and motivate those around you. You also have a very good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in both Swedish and English and possess a high business ethic.

For the position, we see good flexibility and service as important to deliver what we promise to our customers. We place great emphasis on being attentive and meticulous and putting safety first. You also have experience in planning, executing, and following up as well as ensuring delivery in accordance with set goals and timelines.

A driver's license for a passenger car is a given. Likewise, there should be no obstacles for business trips with overnight stays a few times a year.
