JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The facility and operations in Hanaslöv are growing, and Alvesta Municipality is now seeking to strengthen the organization in the Hanaslöv outdoor area. The position of Operations Manager is primarily located in the Hanaslöv outdoor area, where you will closely collaborate with the facility's operations and facility manager to be part of planning, coordination, and development of the operations. The Hanaslöv outdoor area currently includes downhill skiing, cross-country skiing, illuminated trails, hiking trails, downhill biking, mountain biking, parking spaces, etc. Alvesta Municipality is responsible for the operations and facility, but the operations are conducted in close cooperation with the Outdoor Association Alvesta and Alvesta SOK. Collaboration and coordination with relevant associations and their volunteer leaders is an important and prioritized task. Within the framework of the position, you will work with everything from snow production, grooming, supervision, and maintenance of machines to coordination of volunteer efforts. During the summer months, you will work on developing the Hanaslöv area's operations with downhill biking, mountain biking, and outdoor activities, etc. The employment is based on annual working hours, and during the season, irregular working hours related to operations and snow production may occur.

You will also work with supervision, maintenance, and development of the municipality's illuminated trails, hiking trails, and bathing areas, etc. The work with Hanaslöv and the municipality's hiking trails is an important part of Alvesta Municipality's work in nature tourism and outdoor life.

QUALIFICATIONS

Experience in operations and development work at similar facilities is advantageous. You have experience with machinery and knowledge of operational technology and snow production. A B driver's license is required. As a person, you are meticulous and can work on multiple tasks simultaneously. You can quickly adapt to new routines and are not afraid to make independent decisions. You have a CPR certificate, and it is advantageous if you have training in first aid in ski resorts or equivalent. You can work both independently and in a team. You have good social skills, are flexible, and are service-oriented. Due to the deepened collaboration with volunteer associations, personal experience in volunteer work is advantageous.
