JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for engaged summer workers who want to gain valuable experience in the energy sector! At Växjö Energi, you will have the chance to work with the operation of our modern production facilities for electricity, heating, and cooling, both at Sandviksverket and in our local heating plants.

As a summer operations technician, you will gain insight into how we ensure a safe and efficient energy supply. You will acquire in-depth knowledge of combustion technology, thermodynamics, and how we optimize our systems from safety, economic, and environmental perspectives.

Your tasks include:

• Monitoring and rounds of the facilities
• Operational changes
• Preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance

Depending on your placement, shift work may be required.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who either has an ongoing operations technician or engineering education in energy or equivalent, or has already completed their education. You understand the technical and professional aspects of the work and are motivated by problem-solving. You are interested and curious about new knowledge and contribute to a good working atmosphere in the group. Experience in similar tasks within the energy sector or from other similar operations is an advantage but not a requirement.

A B driver's license is required for summer jobs at the local heating plants.
