We in the property department are responsible for the management and operation of Region Kronoberg's total property portfolio as well as the implementation of projects within the framework of operation, maintenance, and service. The property portfolio encompasses approximately 300,000 square meters and about 60,000 square meters of leased premises. Our overarching goal is to provide functional and reliable healthcare facilities.

In total, we are about 65 employees, located at the hospitals in Ljungby and Växjö. In the property management department, where this position belongs, 20 people work in various professions such as electrical, plumbing, ventilation, and control systems.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for an electrical technician who wants to help manage the operation and maintenance of our property systems.

You will perform inspections and maintenance of our facilities, ongoing maintenance, mandatory checks, service and installation work, and various troubleshooting within the low and high voltage areas. The job responsibilities also include backup power operation.

The position may include on-call duty with a response time of 30 minutes. During on-call weeks, you will also handle other property technical tasks. To ensure that you can perform the assignment in a safe and professional manner, relevant training and continuous professional development will be offered.

QUALIFICATIONS

The position of electrical technician requires electrical training at least at the high school level as well as several years of relevant work experience. Holding personal electrical authorization is an advantage.

If you also have experience working with switchgear, high voltage installations, UPS systems, and fire alarms and sprinkler systems, it is considered valuable.

You appreciate taking personal responsibility and driving the work forward to achieve goals and good results. In daily work, problems may arise, so it means that you have a solution-oriented approach. As an electrical technician with us, you will collaborate not only with colleagues but also with other departments, which requires good teamwork skills and the ability to build good relationships.

The position will be classified for security protection and requires approved security clearance and background checks in accordance with the Security Protection Act.

As the job involves travel, a B driver's license is required.
