The Health and Care Administration, with its approximately 1500 employees, is one of the administrations in the city of Mölndal and encompasses elderly care, support for people with disabilities, and health and medical care.

Bifrost short-term unit consists of four departments with about 25 care staff. One floor has short-term places focused on palliative care, and the other floor has short-term places and respite care.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As an assistant nurse with us, you will be part of an engaged and positive group that has fun together, where we help and support each other for development. Together with your colleagues, you will be a key person in the network around the patient, which means you motivate and stimulate based on each individual's conditions, needs, and wishes. We work with a rehabilitative approach and focus on the healthy aspects of each patient. We want our patients to feel secure and become as independent as possible.

In the short-term unit, we work with care and support, rehabilitation, advanced medical care, and palliative care. This may involve tasks such as wound dressings, position changes, and transfers using medical equipment, as well as providing support for relatives.

As an assistant nurse, you will perform regular tasks within municipal care services and health and medical care. Your tasks will primarily include documentation, care work that involves personal care and hygiene, cleaning, laundry, waste management, motivational work, palliative care, and end-of-life care, as well as individually tailored interventions based on needs. This may include outdoor walks, supporting and motivating patients to carry out prescribed rehabilitation exercises, or following and implementing other prescribed care interventions from a nurse.

Working hours are scheduled for day and evening shifts, as well as every other weekend.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is a trained assistant nurse; if you are a trained specialist assistant nurse, that is an advantage. You need to have knowledge of the systems Time Care, TES, and Treserva, as well as basic computer skills.

Experience in palliative care, advanced care, and support within the region, municipality, or similar operations is advantageous.

As a person, you take responsibility for your and the shared tasks with the best interests of the organization and users in focus. You are responsible and take your tasks seriously, completing what you have started and ensuring that the work is done correctly. You show respect and consideration for those you meet in your professional role and base your actions on everyone's equal value, creating a good atmosphere in meetings with others.

We are looking for someone who can easily adapt their working methods based on changing conditions and can quickly change their perspective and approach while seeing opportunities in changes. You have a good ability to work together with others to perform tasks and achieve goals. You understand the common mission, act accordingly, and contribute to the whole.

You have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
