Property Technician

Description

Do you want a developing and varied job with good colleagues? If you are service-oriented and want to work with municipal properties, we can offer an attractive position! We are currently looking for a property technician for a temporary position until December 31, 2026.

You will be part of the property unit in the technical department with about twenty employees. Olofström Municipality has a property portfolio of approximately 85,000 square meters, consisting mainly of schools and preschools, as well as cultural and recreational facilities. You will be part of a group of experienced and competent caretakers. The position is varied, involving both internal and external maintenance that changes with the seasons and includes troubleshooting of various kinds.

Responsibilities

As a property caretaker/property technician, you will work with the daily operations and maintenance of our properties. This includes both internal and external maintenance as well as troubleshooting measures. Rounds and recurring checks such as roof inspections, facade inspections, and fire safety assessments are part of the job. You will be part of the property and transport service department with about twenty employees.

The position includes on-call duty.

Qualifications

As a property technician, we expect you to have the following qualifications:

You have completed a relevant upper secondary education
You have documented experience in property maintenance or similar work
You should have broad knowledge and familiarity with matters related to properties and the various tasks that may arise.
The position involves administrative work, so good computer skills and the ability to work in various systems are required.
You are proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written
Driver's license for manual transmission

It is advantageous if you have the following:

Knowledge of heating and ventilation
Knowledge of fire alarms/building maintenance
Knowledge of construction technology

Great emphasis will be placed on personal qualities.
