Skärgårdskompaniet operates a cabin village on the island of Ämtö in Gryt's archipelago, a nature reserve with a beach, guest harbor, and kiosk. As a cabin host, you ensure that it is pleasant to visit the island in all weather.

Your tasks include checking in and out guests, cleaning cabins and service buildings, working in the kiosk, and keeping the facility clean and welcoming.

Most of those who have summer jobs with us at Ämtö are between 16 and 22 years old, live on an island nearby, and take the boat to work. The position is therefore particularly suitable for young people in the archipelago, but others who want to work in an archipelago environment during the summer are also welcome to apply.

This is a social and fun summer job in one of Sweden's most genuine archipelago environments, with close contact with guests from all over the world.

Personal qualities

You are responsible, service-oriented, and enjoy working with people. You thrive on working both independently and in a team and like to take responsibility for keeping your surroundings tidy and organized.

Working hours & scope

Summer work from June to August. Possibility for part-time or full-time depending on schedule and needs.

Meritorious

• Previous experience in service, kiosk, cleaning, or similar work
• Boat skills and local knowledge of the archipelago

Commuting opportunity / accommodation

We prefer that you live on an island near Ämtö and can get to the workplace by boat daily. For the right person, there is also an opportunity for simple accommodation on or near the island.
