As a yard worker at Dagab's warehouse/logistics center in Örebro, you ensure that food products are delivered on time and with good quality to their stores across the country. Since it is very important that the stores receive the best service so their shelves are never empty, it is crucial that the daily work is carried out with high efficiency and quality. The transport office is characterized by camaraderie and collaboration across functional boundaries, where employees are expected to deliver first-class transport and logistics solutions to Dagab's customers. There are many challenges, and high demands are placed on deliveries to be made on time, at the right temperature, and with as low environmental impact as possible.

As you will be part of a large logistics flow with many actors and different challenges, it is especially important to keep time, follow safety and order regulations, and assist other departments when needed. You will work with goods in a chilled environment where it is approximately +4 degrees.

In the role of yard worker at Dagab, the main tasks are:

• Completing orders - With the help of a forklift, you consolidate load carriers and load Dagab's own vehicles.

In the long run, other tasks may also become relevant.

In this role, you will work either daytime or evening shifts

• Daytime: 07:00-16:00 from Monday to Friday

• Evening: 14:00-01:00 from Monday to Thursday

• Weekend work may also occur

During spring, autumn, and winter, you may want to work about 1-2 days/week. During the summer, you may want to work up to full-time.

The position is a part-time job where you are primarily booked for work week by week in consultation with our Team Leader on-site during spring, autumn, and winter.

The start date for the positions is from week 14 and onwards.

The position starts with comprehensive training for 2 weeks full-time. This is mandatory for all who are hired for the role and provides you with the conditions to learn and succeed in the role.

• You must be at least 18 years old

• Good Swedish in speech and writing

• Forklift license with category A

• Available for work 1-2 shifts per week

• Have another main occupation of at least 50% (for example, studying, sports, running your own business, or another job that you can substantiate with a certificate)

• Forklift license with category B

• Experience in forklift driving

• Work experience from warehousing, logistics, or similar

• Previous experience in physical work

• Positive if you have been or are active in any sport

You have a positive attitude and like to take responsibility, whether it is about respecting times, maintaining good quality, or achieving set goals. You are comfortable being followed up on your performance and motivated by receiving clear feedback on a job well done.

To thrive in the role, good physical condition and taking care of your health are required as heavy lifting occurs. You also need to be self-driven and have the ability to see the bigger picture while being able to handle stress during high workloads.

Being good at collaborating is important as you work together with Dagab's various departments. Contributing to collaboration and a good atmosphere in the group is important, regardless of differing perspectives, cultures, backgrounds, and languages. You also need to enjoy working independently in the warehouse, as you move over large areas with limited social contacts while performing your tasks.

Salary: According to collective agreements, following the warehouse and e-commerce agreement. The salary is GFL salary (GFL = your compensation is based on the average of all working in the warehouse, which at this warehouse is a good compensation). Additional compensation for OB and overtime is provided in accordance with collective agreements.
