Warehouse Administrator at the Swedish Prison and Probation Service
The Swedish Prison and Probation Service is growing – we are building new, renovating, and expanding, and we are now looking for more employees. Our main goal is to reduce recidivism – to break the vicious cycle. If we succeed, society will be safer and more secure for everyone. We are the authority responsible for prisons, probation, remand centers, and client transportation.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
As a warehouse administrator, you and your colleagues form an important support function for the rest of the operations. Your tasks include administering client cases regarding clients' possession of personal belongings. In this role, you will also be responsible for the receipt and delivery of goods to Kumla Prison, which may involve driving as part of your work. You will also be responsible for purchasing consumables, office supplies, clothing, etc., invoice management, as well as inventory management and internal distribution within the operational area. The work is physically demanding as it involves some heavy lifting.
QUALIFICATIONS
As a warehouse administrator, it is important that you take responsibility for your tasks, are meticulous, and have the ability to plan, structure, and prioritize your work independently. You remain calm, stable, and controlled in stressful situations, attentive and accommodating in your interactions with others. You work well with others and easily adapt to changing circumstances. In your role, you contribute to the whole and take responsibility for coming up with solutions and developing the operations together with us.
It is important that you share the fundamental values of the Swedish Prison and Probation Service regarding a humane view of humanity, respect for the individual, and the belief in people's will and ability to develop. You are also aware of and understand how background, culture, and group affiliation affect yourself and others. Furthermore, you are expected to contribute to ensuring that everyone is treated equally through your approach. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
We are looking for someone who has:
- Completed upper secondary education or other education combined with work experience deemed relevant by the Swedish Prison and Probation Service
- Good knowledge of the Swedish language in both spoken and written form
- Driver's license for manual transmission
- Good computer skills
It is an advantage if you have:
- Experience in handling orders and invoicing, preferably from the Swedish Prison and Probation Service's financial system Proceedo and/or KVR
- Work experience from warehouse and inventory work
- Experience working within the Swedish Prison and Probation Service
