About the role
As a Business Engineer, you are a key player in both driving new business and developing and streamlining existing business to strengthen the port's position and competitiveness. You work closely with customers, colleagues, and external partners - and take responsibility for the entire chain from business idea to delivered project.
You will be a central part of the port's modernization journey where you both enable new business and contribute to the development of our existing services, processes, and offerings. The role combines technical competence, business understanding, and project management.
You will also serve as redundancy in sales alongside our salesperson.
Key responsibilities in the role
- Initiate, evaluate, and develop business ideas in dialogue with both customers and internal stakeholders.
- Conduct needs analyses, develop business calculations, drive negotiations to agreements, and implement the project to completion.
- Drive innovation and development projects and maintain dialogue with authorities in permitting processes.
- Contribute to the port's strategic business development in both the short and long term.
The role reports to the site manager for Stillerydshamnen / Deputy CEO.
