About Örebro Theatre

Örebro Theatre is owned by Region Örebro County and Örebro Municipality. The mission of Örebro Theatre is to perform theatre of high artistic quality for both children and adults throughout the county. The theatre's mission is defined in ownership directives and the cultural plan of Region Örebro County. The theatre's home is Örebro, where the two main stages, Örebro Theatre and the Small Stage, are located.

About the position

We are looking for someone who sees what needs to be done, has good coordination skills, and is passionate about service.

The position primarily involves simpler property maintenance, including the upkeep of our properties and apartments, as well as being a point of contact with our various landlords regarding property matters.

We seek someone with high social competence, an interest in and ability to collaborate in a team. You are responsible and solution-oriented, used to taking your own initiatives, and can work independently as well as across boundaries.

Together with the theatre's other staff, you will work to ensure that the audience has a fantastic experience.

We expect you to have the following competencies:

· Service-oriented problem solver with good communication skills

· Ability to see what needs to be done and drive issues in a structured manner.

· Relevant education or equivalent work experience, preferably documented experience in property maintenance.

· Good IT skills are a requirement, as well as familiarity with the Office 365 environment.

· Heavy lifting may occur, so we expect you to be in good physical condition.

· Cultural background/interest is an advantage.

Job responsibilities

The work involves a great deal of personal responsibility, which requires you to have a good drive and a solid structure in your work. Collaboration skills are important as this is a service profession and you will have daily contact with many different groups, including suppliers, resident guests, and colleagues.

· Property maintenance involves simpler service, cleaning, and upkeep within our properties.

· Light handyman tasks, assembly, orders

· Dialogue with our landlords regarding major actions and fault reports.

· Point of contact regarding recycling.

· Mail handling – collection and delivery.

· Key management – responsible for key distribution to employees, craftsmen, and guests.

· Management of electronic access/key systems and actions via our supplier

· Driving vehicles that require a B driver's license, transport between our properties

· Vehicle maintenance, service, inspections, etc.

· Fire representative for our common areas, performing self-checks regularly (SBA)

· Participate in the theatre's work environment efforts

Duration, working hours

The position is 75%, primarily daytime, permanent employment with Örebro Theatre. 

We apply a probationary period of 6 months.
