Join Sweden's Total Defense - Clausen & Lovén is looking for a Site Manager

As a Site Manager at Clausen & Lovén, you will be responsible for planning, leading, and following up on daily production. You are a key person in the project and act as the link between the site manager and skilled workers. Now you have the chance to help create buildings that strengthen Sweden's security and crisis preparedness. Join us in northern Sweden for a security-classified project worth experiencing!

We offer you

  • A highly competitive salary
  • Rotation schedule 7 + 7 with free accommodation near the workplace, free meals, and activities outside of working hours (gym, game room, etc.)
  • We cover all travel related to the assignment, both between your home and the workplace as well as travel for work (flights, cars, trains, etc.)
  • Contractual allowances and secure conditions according to applicable collective agreements
  • And perhaps the greatest benefit of all, the pride of knowing that your professional skills make a direct difference for Sweden's defense and crisis preparedness

Your Responsibilities

As a site manager with us, you are responsible for planning, leading, and following up on daily production at the construction site, which involves security-classified buildings above ground in northern Sweden. You create structure in everyday life, keep the team together, and ensure that the work progresses according to plan with the right quality, safety, and pace. Your responsibilities include, among other things:

  • Leading and distributing daily work on the construction site and ensuring that production follows the schedule and set goals
  • Establishing and following production plans, schedules, and work preparations together with site managers & other site managers, as well as participating in purchasing and financial follow-up
  • Coordinating skilled workers to create an efficient production flow and participating in construction/production meetings with project partners
  • Actively working with workplace safety and security, conducting safety rounds, risk analyses, and action plans according to company procedures
  • Motivating the team, building team spirit, and contributing to a positive work environment in line with our values: Joy, Responsibility, Courage, Engagement.

With us, you work alongside self-employed skilled workers, which is unusual in our industry and gives you a strong team to lead and a stable production with high professional pride and delivery reliability.

Who we are looking for

We are looking for a confident and unpretentious leader who enjoys being close to production and sees themselves as an integral part of the team. You are structured, solution-oriented, and have an easy time creating clarity in everyday life. You dare to take responsibility, make decisions, and tackle problems directly, while leading with respect and building trust with both skilled workers, subcontractors, and clients. As a person, you are forward-looking and thrive in an environment where we develop, grow, and constantly improve our working methods.

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Experience as a site manager, foreman, or equivalent role in construction with a good ability to plan and lead daily production
  • Experience in cast-in-place constructions within larger infrastructure projects is an advantage
  • Must be a Swedish citizen (requirement for these security-classified projects)
  • Ability to work in a rotation schedule with 7 days on-site and 7 days at home
  • Understanding of, and willingness to follow, the safety requirements and procedures applicable to the assignment
  • Class B driver's license and good computer skills, preferably experience with digital project tools

In this type of project, high demands are placed on each individual. Therefore, you need to be confident in following safety procedures, working in a structured manner, and respecting the rules that apply to security-classified workplaces. Monitoring safety requirements and procedures will be a natural part of the work.

Before an employment contract can be signed, you will undergo a security review that includes a security interview and a check of the criminal record. Monitoring of safety requirements will continue throughout the project's duration.
