We are now looking for a technical designer to join our team in Umeå. With us, you will help create safer environments for people, businesses, and communities – while also developing yourself!

Your role - more than just project design

As a technical designer, you are a key player in our projects. You are responsible for the design and documentation of our security technology solutions, both by designing yourself and leading our subcontractors. All with a focus on quality and precision. You will, among other things:

• Design and document security systems.
• Participate in kickoff meetings and follow up on projects - internally and with external partners.
• Set requirements, procure external resources, and ensure that the delivery meets the highest standards.
• Collaborate closely with project managers and contribute to making our solutions both technically advanced and user-friendly.
• Lead hired consultants in drawings and documentation.

Who are you?

• You are engaged and want to take responsibility and relieve our project managers with construction and design.
• You enjoy building relationships and can act as support both internally and externally.
• You work independently and together with project managers to plan and execute our assignments.
• You are well aware of the importance of having well-structured timelines. When you promise to deliver something, colleagues and clients can be sure it will be done on time.

Core competencies

• A high technical competence that you are proud of, and an interest in further developing it!
• Experience working with security technology solutions.
• Good knowledge of electrical engineering, low current, and computer and network solutions.
• Electrical-telecommunications education at the high school level, or through YH/higher education.
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written, as well as a B driver's license.

Preferred if you:

• Handle CAD as a natural tool.
• Have good knowledge of tele-registration and Construction Documents 90.
