District Nurse/Nurse at Närvården Hemdal

Job Responsibilities

As a district nurse/nurse at the health center, the work is varied. You meet patients of different ages and with various needs. Your work includes, among other things, telephone counseling, your own reception work, assisting doctors with certain examinations and treatments, as well as digital chat via 1177 directly. If you have expertise in Asthma/COPD, this will be part of your responsibilities. You will work both independently and in a team with other professionals at the health center, and improvement work is an important part of the daily work at the health center.

Närvården Hemdal is a well-established and relatively large health center in Västerås, located at entrance 19 on the hospital grounds. We are responsible for over 13,100 registered patients, and our unit includes a doctor and district nurse reception, maternal and child health care, a rehabilitation unit with physiotherapists and occupational therapists, as well as a psychosocial team with a social worker, psychologist, and nurse. Qualifications

You who are applying are a district nurse, or alternatively a nurse with experience in telephone counseling and reception work within primary care. For this position, expertise in Asthma/COPD is an advantage. We would like you to have experience with the Cosmic journal system that we use in our daily work, and you must master the Swedish language in both speech and writing.

You are used to working independently, are confident in your professional role, and have a professional approach. We appreciate responsibility and good collaboration skills. You enjoy challenges, take initiative, and want to be involved in the development of the health center. You easily adapt to new circumstances and are accommodating in your interactions with others.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Employment Conditions

Permanent employment. Full-time, daytime. Start date by agreement.
