Job Description

As a junior automotive technician in Strängnäs, you will work alongside experienced technicians to perform service and repair work on passenger cars. You will have the opportunity to develop your technical skills through hands-on work in the workshop, troubleshooting under supervision, and participating in quality and documentation processes.

Main Responsibilities

• Perform service, routine maintenance, and simple repairs according to work orders and manufacturer instructions.

• Participate in troubleshooting with senior technicians and conduct diagnostics using the workshop's diagnostic tools.

• Install and replace parts, as well as check functions and quality before the car is returned to the customer.

• Document completed work in the workshop system and report deviations or the need for further actions.

• Maintain order in the workplace, tools, and materials, and follow the company's safety and environmental procedures.

• Communicate with the service reception and colleagues to ensure a smooth workflow and good customer service.

Qualifications

• Education in automotive technology or equivalent practical experience from a workshop is an advantage.

• Interest in vehicle diagnostics and a willingness to learn new systems and tools.

• Basic computer skills and the ability to document in administrative systems.

• Good communication skills in Swedish, both spoken and written.

• Detail-oriented, cooperative, and service-minded with a safety mindset in all work.

• Driver's license B manual
