Job Description

As a junior automotive technician in Eskilstuna, you will work alongside experienced technicians to perform service and repair work on passenger cars. You will have the opportunity to develop your technical skills through practical work in the workshop, troubleshooting under supervision, and participating in quality and documentation processes.

Main Responsibilities

• Perform service, routine maintenance, and minor repairs according to work orders and manufacturer instructions.

• Participate in troubleshooting with senior technicians and conduct diagnostics using the workshop's diagnostic tools.

• Install and replace parts and check functions and quality before the car is returned to the customer.

• Document completed work in the workshop system and report discrepancies or needs for further action.

• Maintain order in the workplace, tools, and materials, and follow the company's routines for safety and environment.

• Communicate with the customer reception and colleagues to ensure a smooth workflow and good customer service.

Qualifications

• Education in automotive technology or equivalent practical experience from a workshop is an advantage.

• Interest in vehicle diagnostics and a willingness to learn new systems and tools.

• Basic computer skills and the ability to document in administrative systems.

• Good communication skills in Swedish, both spoken and written.

• Detail-oriented, cooperative, and service-minded with a safety mindset in all work.

• Driver's license B manual
