Do you want to work in the intersection of operations and IT and contribute to secure and efficient access management? We are now looking for a system administrator/object specialist for the Access Portal who wants to help develop and manage a mission-critical service.

The HR system is a specialist function within the HR department at Region Dalarna. The function is responsible for managing and developing the region's HR-related system support and works, among other things, with:

  • Maintaining and updating the personnel system according to applicable laws, regulations, and local deviations
  • Training and informing users about the functions and usage of the systems
  • Ensuring that the HSA catalog is current and correct, and that the organizational chart is accurately updated
  • Developing, maintaining, and adapting the Access Portal in accordance with applicable regulations, architectural principles, and operational goals
  • Continuously improving systems and processes with a focus on digitization and automation

With us, you will work alongside engaged colleagues at the Regional Office in Falun, with the possibility of remote work about 2 days a week. We offer great freedom under responsibility.

System Administrator/Object Specialist for HR System in Falun Job Responsibilities

As a system administrator/object specialist, you will be responsible for the operational management of the Access Portal. You will ensure that the solution meets the needs of the business and develops in line with applicable regulations, architectural principles, and operational goals. The role involves close collaboration with operations, IT, and external suppliers.

Job Responsibilities

  • Be the business contact person for the Access Portal
  • Gather, analyze, and prioritize requirements from the business
  • Analyze, develop, and build new workflows
  • Participate in and drive management and development work
  • Ensure correct structure for permissions, roles, and regulations
  • Collaborate with IT, IAM function, and suppliers
  • Participate in testing, acceptance, and implementation of changes
  • Develop and manage routines, processes, and user support
  • Follow up on incidents, change requests, and user needs
  • Ensure compliance with laws and regulations, such as GDPR
Other InformationQualifications

Requirements:

  • Relevant university degree or equivalent
  • Experience working as an object specialist, system administrator, or similar role
  • Good understanding of access management and identity access management (IAM)

Desirable:

  • Experience with access portals or IAM solutions
  • Knowledge of public administration
  • Knowledge of management models, such as PM3
  • Basic knowledge of LDAP and LDAP queries
