Ressel was founded in 1992 and transformed into a shipping company in 2000. We conduct freight and passenger traffic and operate, among other places, in the Stockholm archipelago.

We are now looking for seasonal employees for our freight traffic team at our terminal in Albyberg.

There, we handle goods that are to be transported to the Stockholm archipelago, primarily focusing on food retailers and restaurateurs operating on islands without bridge or ferry connections. We also assist other businesses as well as private individuals who need to transport goods between the mainland and the archipelago.

Our terminal is located in modern premises in Albyberg's business park in Österhaninge. Your task as a warehouse worker will be to receive goods, check the goods against the order in the transport system, make any adjustments, make bookings, collect payments, and sort goods.

With us, you will work very closely with a small team of skilled colleagues consisting of both permanent staff as well as temporary employees during the season. It is very important for us that you have high social competence, are helpful, communicative, and can collaborate.

Requirements;

  • Completed upper secondary education or other acquired competence deemed equivalent by the employer
  • Driving license B
  • Forklift license
  • Computer skills
  • Fluent Swedish in both speech and writing
  • Law-abiding and without payment remarks

Meritorious for the position is;

  • Experience with the transport planning system Opter (K2)
  • Previous experience in food transport
  • Previous experience in warehouse work
  • Seafaring experience
  • CE driving license with valid YKB
  • Good physical condition

The seasonal employment extends from March 10 to September 30. We prefer applicants who intend to work the entire period without interruption.

We are also looking for staff for the period June 1 – August 31.

Working hours are either 04:30 – 13:00 or 10:15 – 18:45

Salary according to collective agreement
