Job Responsibilities

We are looking for consultants to work extra as drivers and deliver goods from Dagab's warehouse in Bålsta. As a driver, your main task will be to deliver pre-packed grocery bags to Willys and Hemköp customers, both within and outside Stockholm. There may also be deliveries to corporate clients and stores. Using a light truck and GPS, you will ensure that the customer receives their order on time. The truck can be driven with a regular B driver's license.

Deliveries to customers involve heavier lifting and running up stairs, so this is a physical job that requires endurance. The work is independent and you are responsible for ensuring it is done well.

You will be the face of the company during deliveries and will be responsible for ensuring that the customer's experience is positive.

Working Hours and Info

Working hours vary, and start and end times can change. Examples of shifts you may work include: 11:00 AM - 10:00 PM, 6:00 AM - 3:00 PM, and 3:00 AM - 10:00 AM.

You will make yourself available week by week, but will be booked day by day. We expect you to be able to work full shifts if necessary. Since you make yourself available for work week by week, it is excellent to combine this with another main occupation, such as studies, a part-time job, or your own business.

We expect you to be able to work around 2-3 weekdays per week.

The position starts with training during the day, 4 days in one week, Tuesday - Friday. Before that, you must also have completed and passed a driving test at Dagab.

The position starts immediately.

Salary

We apply hourly wages based on the GFL wage principle (average earnings level).

Location and About Dagab

You will start and end your workday at Dagab's new warehouse in Bålsta. When delivering to customers, you will drive in the Stockholm area, where your route and delivery locations may vary from day to day.

Dagab is part of Axfood, Sweden's second-largest player in the grocery retail sector with brands such as Willys, Hemköp, Tempo, and Axfood Snabbgross. Every week, Dagab distributes thousands of deliveries directly to end customers and is responsible for deliveries that meet the highest quality standards and meet today's and tomorrow's demands.

Personal Qualities/Qualifications

To thrive in the role of a driver, you should:

• be comfortable working at a fast pace and have the ability to combine efficiency with accuracy. This is required as you are responsible for ensuring that orders are delivered on time and to the right customer.
• have a safety mindset when driving the vehicle.
• appreciate independent work.
• enjoy physical work and have good physical condition as the job involves heavy lifting and a lot of stair climbing.
• be service-minded and ensure that the customer has a good impression during the brief moment of handing over the order.

Since a work shift can last throughout the day, this position is suitable for someone who is flexible and perhaps studying remotely or has their own business and needs a stable income alongside their occupation. We want you to intend to combine this part-time job with another occupation for a longer period.

Importance will also be placed on your other personal qualities.

Requirements

• To be hired and employed in this position, you must have a main occupation of at least 50% alongside.
• B driver's license for manual transmission.
• Since workplace introductions, safety regulations, safety briefings, and other instructions are conducted in Swedish, you need to be proficient in the Swedish language.
