Skärgårdsrederiet operates sightseeing traffic in Stockholm on behalf of Red Sightseeing, which is part of Enticon. The sightseeing traffic runs year-round with a focus on the summer season and reduced traffic during the winter season.

We are looking for someone who:

• Is at least 18 years old.
• Meets the requirements for a maritime medical certificate (provided by the employer).
• Is responsible and has a strong safety mindset.
• Is social and service-oriented.
• Has a genuine interest in providing guests with a memorable experience.
• Can communicate in Swedish and English (additional languages are a plus).
• Has the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle varied tasks.
• Previous experience working on vessels or in the service industry is a plus but not a requirement.

About the position:

As a deckhand on our vessels, you will work with service and safety. You will be our face to the public and the captain's extended arm.

You will meet and assist guests from all over the world and contribute to a pleasant and professional atmosphere on board.

Job responsibilities:

• Assist the captain during arrival and departure.
• Ensure that safety procedures are followed on board, including assisting with safety equipment and instructions for guests.
• Help keep the vessel in good condition by performing basic maintenance and cleaning.
• Provide information about Stockholm and our products to guests.
• Create a welcoming and professional atmosphere for our guests.
