Hälsingebackens nursing and care home consists of a wonderful team and we are now looking for another colleague!

Hälsingebacken is located in Falun and we have 48 apartments distributed over six departments focusing on high care and one department focused on dementia. Our work group includes nursing assistants, care assistants, team leaders, and unit managers. Together with the health and medical professions, we are a good team where we help and learn from each other, all to provide the customer with the best possible care and support. The work of the care administration is based on a common value base where security is a central concept in the work with the individual customer. In every meeting with the individual, the activities of the care administration should be characterized by a good reception that ensures respect, integrity, self-determination, continuity, and influence for the individual. Within Falu Municipality, we have reduced working hours for care assistants/nursing assistants, which means that you will work 36 hours/week at full time.

Job Responsibilities

Working in a nursing and care home gives you a concrete opportunity to make a difference in someone's life. The tasks include providing good care and service to our customers. Our customers' needs dictate our tasks and may include assisting with personal care, support during meal situations, service efforts, and social activities. The work involves motivating, supporting, and, if necessary, helping the customer in all everyday situations.

Our mission is to work according to the customer's implementation plan. The implementation plan describes the intervention and how the customer wishes to have the interventions performed; the implementation plan is a tool in the work. The work also includes some administrative tasks, which means that you should be able to document according to specified guidelines and take responsibility for following up tasks handed over by other colleagues, unit managers, or professionals such as nurses, occupational therapists, or physiotherapists. The work can be both physically and mentally demanding.

Qualifications

The role requires:

• A three-year care program from high school or other education/experience assessed by the employer as equivalent
• Experience using a computer and mobile phone in work
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written

Personal Qualities

We are looking for someone with a great interest and commitment to working with people! You need to be stress-resistant, flexible, and have good collaboration skills.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

• Previous experience working in care and support

Employment Conditions

The position is a permanent full-time employment with a start date according to agreement.

Falu Municipality applies the full-time agreement, which means that full-time is a right and part-time is an option; you choose how much you want to work. You must be able to work according to a fixed schedule where day/evening and weekend shifts are included; we are also looking for someone who can work nights.

Falu Municipality also has a smoke-free work time.
