Do you want to work as a Project Support Manager in an international and technically advanced project environment? Do you have solid experience in technical documentation, documentation management, and project support within engineering or IT? Then this could be the right consulting assignment for you.

We are currently looking for two experienced consultants for an assignment with our client in Västerås. Here, you will play a central role in the project's support function and work closely with project leaders focusing on documentation control, planning, and delivery assurance in complex technology projects.

About the role

As a Project Support Manager, you will be responsible, together with the project team, for ensuring that documentation-related deliveries are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with the applicable quality management system. The role involves coordinating and operational responsibility for planning, coordinating, and following up on technical documentation.

You will work on creating, editing, and publishing technical documentation as well as managing drawings, renderings, and technical illustrations in combination with technical text. The role also includes process management and quality assurance, as well as support to project leaders in documentation and delivery issues. You are expected to make project-related decisions within given frameworks and, if necessary, delegate work within the technical area to ensure high quality in the deliveries.

This is not a junior role. We are looking for an experienced consultant who is confident in their skills and accustomed to working independently in complex technical project environments.

Your background

You have at least five years of experience working with technical documentation within IT, engineering, or technical services. You have a good understanding of documentation management, planning, and structured process work and are used to working with Windows-based IT tools. Experience in combining technical text with drawings and illustrations is an important part of your skill set.

You communicate fluently in English, both spoken and written. Relevant post-secondary education in technology, project management, or equivalent is an advantage.
