Götene Vatten & Värme AB's operations consist of the production and distribution of district heating, steam, and hot water, production and distribution of water, as well as the management of wastewater. The company was founded in 1995 as a municipal energy company, which in 2003 expanded to also include water and wastewater operations. The operations are conducted exclusively in Götene municipality and have a total of about 35 employees.

About the job

We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician for our Energy department in Götene. With us, you will have a key role in the operation and maintenance of our production and distribution facilities for district heating, steam, and hot water. This involves qualified preventive and corrective maintenance, repairs, and improvement efforts – always with a focus on operational reliability, efficiency, and development.

Who are you?

• You have education in maintenance or several years of equivalent experience
• It is an advantage if you have experience working with solid fuel plants, heat/steam production, or process industry.
• To fit in with us, the smaller company with big assignments, we believe you are meticulous, flexible, and have good collaboration skills.
• You are curious and passionate about technology and are solution-oriented.
• As a person, you are positive and driven and enjoy taking on significant responsibility.
• You have good computer skills and good knowledge of Swedish and basic English.
• A B driver's license is required, and you must reside in the municipality or its surrounding area (within a 60-minute drive)
