We are looking for a project manager with experience in the distribution industry in Växjö and surrounding areas

About the position:
We are now seeking an engaged Project Manager for street lighting and traffic systems for direct recruitment to our client in Växjö! The client is one of Sweden's leading players in the distribution industry.

In this role, you will work as a project manager within infrastructure, lighting, and traffic technical systems in Sweden. You will manage projects related to street lighting, traffic signals, and related facilities – from early stages and bids to final delivery and follow-up. Your work is a vital part of developing and modernizing public infrastructure for a safer and more sustainable society.

Working hours are scheduled from Monday–Friday 07:00–16:00. You will have access to a company car and the option to work remotely. You will also be out on projects and communicate with technicians, subcontractors, and clients.

Job description:

• Lead and drive projects in street lighting, traffic systems, and related infrastructure facilities
• Be responsible for project finances, timelines, quality, and work environment
• Contact and coordination with clients, municipalities, authorities, contractors, and internal resources
• Participate in bids, calculations, and quotation work
• Technical and financial follow-up of projects
• Support preparers, designers, and installers in project execution
• Ensure that projects are carried out according to applicable standards, regulations, and agreements

We are looking for someone who has:

• Experience in project management within electrical, infrastructure, lighting, or traffic systems
  • You may also have previously worked as an electrician/technician and recently graduated as an engineer in the energy sector.
• Technical background in electrical, power, lighting, or equivalent
• Experience working with clients, contractors, and suppliers
• Good administrative skills and experience working with finances, timelines, and follow-up
• Driver's license (B) (requirement)
• Ability to work both independently and in a team
• High sense of responsibility and a structured approach to work
• Fluent Swedish in speech and writing

Meritorious:

• Experience in street lighting, traffic signals, or other traffic technical systems
• Experience in bids, calculations, and procurement
• Knowledge of AMA, contract law, and relevant standards
• Training in work environment, BAS-P/BAS-U, ESA, or Work on Roads
