Ward 53 is an acute surgical ward that belongs to general surgery/urology. The department is part of the surgical clinic, which consists of three wards, two outpatient clinics, and day activities. We are currently on an exciting development journey with the goal of continuing to grow. In the coming years, we will recruit more staff to meet the region's development. We are looking for
We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse. It is an advantage if you have experience in surgical care or emergency care, but we also encourage you who are new in your profession to apply. With us, you will receive an individually tailored introduction. We place great importance on your personal qualities. As a person, you are self-driven, proactive, and solution-oriented. In stressful situations, you are stable and controlled. You see the value of collaboration with others and you put the patient in focus.
What you will work with
As a nurse in Ward 53 - Acute Surgery, you will be responsible for the nursing work around the patients. Your tasks will include meeting and managing acutely ill patients, working with advanced medical equipment, and tasks within medicine and nursing. You will work together with doctors in the emergency team as well as with other professionals such as nursing assistants and physiotherapists. We offer you a stimulating and educational workplace where the acutely ill patients ensure that no day is the same. We work with person-centered care, interdisciplinary collaborations, and evidence-based care. We have specialist-trained nurses available as support and resources.

Information about the position
We offer permanent full-time positions with working hours during the day, evening, and weekend or night. Start date is according to agreement.
Region Norrbotten applies individual salary setting according to collective agreements.
