With us, we primarily care for inpatients and acute patients of all ages. Here, all patients are taken care of after undergoing surgery at Sunderby Hospital.
We are a well-functioning team with dedicated and competent colleagues. Together, we have a close and positive collaboration with all professional groups within the clinic. We now need to strengthen our team and are looking for someone who wants to take the next step in their professional development.
We are looking for
We are looking for a licensed nurse with good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. It is an advantage if you have experience with the Cosmic and Provisio journal systems and previous experience in postoperative care.
We place great importance on personal qualities. As a person, you are secure, proactive, and independent. You value and see the benefit of collaborating with others.
What you will work with
The work in our postoperative care department is both varied and educational. Here you will meet patients of all ages and with a wide variety of surgical procedures. We take care of patients who have undergone major surgeries and therefore have a more care-intensive and longer postoperative course. Our operations are conducted around the clock, every day of the year.
Work in our day surgery department may occur based on the needs of the operation, and of course, you will also receive a proper introduction there.
In the postoperative care department, we have eleven monitoring places, including procedure places, as well as a single room with monitoring.
In our training care department, we have ten monitoring places, as well as a separate children's department within the training care with five monitoring places and its own patient flow for children.

Information about the position
We offer a permanent full-time position, with working hours during the day, evening, and weekends. Start date by agreement. Interviews are conducted continuously, and the position may be filled before the application period ends.
Region Norrbotten applies individual salary setting according to collective agreements.
