Hemstranden-Kotiranta

is a modern special accommodation with space for 80 residents. As a nursing assistant at the care and support facility Hemstranden - Kotiranta, you will be offered educational and meaningful tasks. The work involves performing standard care tasks such as personal care, medication administration, and other delegated HSL interventions, activities, social interaction, etc. You will meet people with different backgrounds, illnesses, and life situations. We place the highest importance on how we treat both our guests and their relatives, as well as each other within the team.

Your Responsibilities

Together with other staff, you will work to provide our guests with rehabilitation, personal care, and support. You will motivate and stimulate individuals based on their individual conditions, needs, and wishes. Your tasks will also include administering medication, maintaining documentation, and rehabilitation training. Case management, implementation plans, and social documentation are also central parts of the job. In the short-term unit, you will collaborate closely with licensed professionals such as nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, as well as with care coordinators and unit managers.

Your Profile

As the target group you meet varies depending on which guests are temporarily with us, high demands are placed on your competence while the variation gives you the opportunity to develop. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is flexible and confident in their nursing assistant role and who thrives in a changing pace where no two days are alike. As a person, you are self-driven and can structure and perform your work effectively. You easily adapt your approach and demeanor to the person and situation and have the ability to remain calm even in unforeseen or acute events. You also have good collaboration skills, good communication skills, and prioritize the individual's and the organization's best interests in your actions and decision-making. We place great importance on personal suitability.

Formal Qualifications

You have a nursing assistant diploma with experience in care and support, preferably from a similar unit. You are proficient in the Swedish language in speaking, writing, and reading comprehension, as communication and documentation are important parts of your work.

Employment

The position is permanent with a start date of June 1, 2026, or by agreement. The work is scheduled for days and evenings, both weekdays and weekends. Interviews will be conducted on an ongoing basis.
