Optometrist for a Modern Store in Kiruna

At Niemis Optik, we are looking for a dedicated and professional Licensed Optometrist who wants to help shape the future of eye care in Kiruna.

We operate in a brand new, state-of-the-art store equipped with world-class instruments, including OCT and advanced fundus photography, advanced measuring equipment, and digital tools for remote optics. We are at the forefront of developing new concepts and working methods – making this a unique opportunity for you who want to work clinically on-site in the store while being part of a modern, innovative business.

Opportunities are available for both full-time and part-time work.

Your Role

⭐ Perform thorough and professional eye examinations to identify and correct vision problems

⭐ Provide advice on vision-correcting solutions and products, including glasses and contact lenses

⭐ Fit and adjust glasses and contact lenses to ensure optimal fit and comfort

⭐ Collaborate with ophthalmologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive eye care

⭐ Contribute to a positive, safe, and inviting atmosphere in the store by providing excellent customer service

⭐ Stay updated on current research and new technology in optics and eye care

Requirements

✅ License as an optometrist

✅ Ability to build good relationships with customers and colleagues

✅ Attention to detail and a keen eye for specifics

✅ Positive attitude and ability to work effectively in a team

Meritorious

✨ Specialist competence or master's degree in optometry or a related field

✨ Special interest in clinical work

✨ Interest in new technology and modern working methods
