We are now looking for paving workers based in Västernorrland, Jämtland, or Västerbotten.

About the position

We are looking for someone who wants to work as a Paving Worker with us at Peab Asfalt starting in the 2026 season.

In the role of Paving Worker with us, you will be part of an engaged team driven by seeing a project come to life. You will work in the field alongside your colleagues with varying assignments within your work area. Working as a paving worker means that both the work location and hours vary, which requires some flexibility.

Job responsibilities include:

• Paving work with machine/manual
• Screed operator
• Compaction
• Adhesion

The asphalt season is most intense from April to November, depending on the weather, and you will work longer days during the peak season. This is compensated with time off with retained salary from the end of the season until mid-February 2027.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone with 1-3 years of experience in paving work.

The position of paving worker requires that you are responsible, engaged, and have an easy time collaborating. We are looking for someone who is willing to work and enjoys learning new things, driven to do a good job, and is punctual. You have a good ability to plan your work and solve problems that arise.

You will work together with others in a team, and you depend on each other to succeed. You find it natural to see your work as a team effort where you care about delivering a well-executed job together with your colleagues. 

You should have good physical fitness as the work can be physically demanding, and you should enjoy working outdoors for most of the year.

Requirements

• Driver's license B

Meritorious

• Driver's license C
• Team leader responsibility
• Experience in paving work
