About the job

The work mainly involves inventorying according to MIFO (Methodology for Inventorying Contaminated Areas). You will compile information about potential contamination based on, among other things, historical information about processes and handling of chemicals and waste.

The work includes:

• reading
• external contacts with operators, property owners, municipalities, other authorities, and residents
• archive and map studies
• site visits and interviews
• compiling collected information into inventory protocols
• analyzing the information and assessing the risk (risk classification)

The employment is a seasonal position for 8-10 weeks, possibly with the opportunity for extension.

About you

You should be at the end of or have completed your natural science or technical education at a university with a focus on environmental issues or other relevant education/experience that the employer deems equivalent. It is an advantage if you have experience from studies or work related to contaminated areas.

As a person, you are proactive, social, and have the ability to build trust in your contacts. You can compile large amounts of information, analyze it, and draw relevant conclusions. In the inventory role, you will work independently with support from your immediate workgroup (the contaminated areas function). We place great emphasis on your personal qualities.

You should have good knowledge of the Swedish language and the ability to communicate in both speech and writing. A driver's license (B) is an advantage.
