We are now looking for a responsible and self-driven caretaker for our camp in Värmland, located outside Lesjöfors. The position is a year-round job focused on ongoing operations, maintenance, and renovation.

The farm consists of three operations as well as staff accommodation and a kitchen, which means a varied job with responsibility for ensuring that properties, outdoor environments, and common areas are in good condition year-round.

The work includes everything from minor repairs to larger maintenance projects.

Responsibilities

• Ongoing property management and supervision
• Repairs and maintenance of buildings and premises
• Carpentry and renovation work
• Painting and finishing work
• Maintenance of staff accommodation and kitchen
• Care of outdoor environments, land, and facilities
• Basic technical maintenance and troubleshooting
• Planning and implementation of maintenance work throughout the year
• Ensuring compliance with fire and safety regulations
• Basic electrical and plumbing work

Requirements:

• Experience in practical property or maintenance work
• Knowledge in carpentry and renovation
• Basic knowledge of painting
• Good knowledge of Swedish, spoken and written
• Driver's license B

Meritorious:

• Experience from a similar caretaker position
• Certifications in construction or property
• Welding skills
• Chainsaw license

· Some computer skills in Excel and Word are meritorious

About the company

Utepedagogik Sverige AB is a private company that conducts various types of operations. The company has its office and headquarters in Stockholm. We currently have five full-time employees, as well as about 90 seasonal employees during June-August. Our main activity is the camp that we have been running for 23 years. Every summer we have about 800 participants at our three camp farms.

The company owns a large facility in Värmland about 30 kilometers north of Filipstad. The facility is located on its own peninsula of 6 hectares and consists of several buildings with a total area of 1500 m2. The capacity of the facility is 200 indoor beds and about 50 beds located in large tents. We have several bathing areas with bathing bridges and a sauna on the premises. We have a fully equipped restaurant kitchen that serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner for around 200 people a day during the summer.
