Environmental and Food Inspector

Mörbylånga Municipality is located in the southern part of Öland and consists of about 1200 dedicated and competent employees who are driven to make a difference in our community. RESPONSIBILITIES

As an environmental and food inspector in the environmental unit during the summer months, you will assist the unit in case management and supervision work. The prioritized task is to carry out supervision according to the Environmental Code and the Food Act, primarily focusing on sewage supervision and food supervision. The work involves conducting site visits and dialogue with operators, private individuals, and businesses in our municipality. After completing a site visit, inspection protocols or decisions related to the inspection visit will be established.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with good communication skills and a sense of good service and quality. In your work, you strive for a positive approach where dialogue and collaboration are essential. As a person, you are efficient with a sense of planning. You are expected to plan your work independently, which means you are responsible and meticulous. We seek someone who expresses themselves well in both speech and writing, as the work involves both oral dialogue and conveying messages in writing. We are looking for someone with relevant education in the environmental field. It is an advantage if you have previously conducted supervision in the environmental or food sector.
