Store Associate at Coop Markaryd

We are currently seeking a new team member for our store Coop Markaryd Kronobergsgatan. We want you to have a good initiative and a positive energy that is contagious, to see the customer's needs, and to deliver the best customer service in the industry with pride and joy.

As a person, you are creative and are happy to come up with suggestions and ideas, and you find it easy to work in a team. You have an eye for detail and the commitment to create a welcoming, sales-oriented, and inspiring store. You are driven by challenges, see opportunities, and have a desire to continuously develop and streamline both the business and yourself.

You will be working with all the common tasks in the store, for example;

• Working at the checkout
• Restocking shelves and fronting products
• Building displays on sales tables and ends
• Working with inventory and shrinkage
• Conducting self-checks
• Keeping the store clean and tidy

Together with your colleagues, you will be the face of the store, and for you, the customer is number one. You easily create long-term customer relationships and have the ability to inspire customers to enjoy shopping. You thrive on being active and working physically. Working in a store offers you a varied job in sometimes a fast-paced environment, and it is important that you feel comfortable handling stressful situations.

Previous experience in the grocery retail sector is highly meritorious, but personal suitability is equally important to us at Coop.

The position is a permanent employment of 10 hours/week with a start date according to agreement. We apply a probationary period. Recruitment is ongoing, and the position may be filled before the application deadline. Working hours vary and include both day and evening shifts as well as weekends.

• Good Swedish language skills in speech and writing are required
• Must be at least 18 years old as you will be working independently at the checkout
• Experience and competence from retail and/or other service professions are meritorious
