As a senior project engineer at the Swedish Transport Administration, you will help facilitate the everyday lives of residents and businesses across Sweden.

Senior Project Engineer - Contract Management and Agreement Follow-up

The Mälarbanan is an important part of the railway network, connecting Örebro, Västerås, and Enköping with Stockholm. The Mälarbanan is also part of Stockholm's local commuter train network. The program includes approximately a 20-kilometer railway stretch between Tomteboda and Kallhäll in northwestern Stockholm and is one of the country's busiest.

We are now looking for someone who wants to work in a key role with a wide range of tasks. You will be a welcome colleague in our unit for Design and Production's commercial group, which is responsible for supporting and relieving the unit's project managers in commercial matters. The unit consists of an engaged team with a wide range of experience and knowledge. Here we help each other with the challenges we face, and you will have close collaboration with both the project manager for the commercial group and project managers in our contracts, controllers, contract administrators, and others. With your extensive experience, we see that you will independently contribute both good team spirit and share your experiences with the team.

Your main responsibilities will primarily consist of

• Ensuring compliance with contracts and agreement terms
• Planning contract follow-ups
• Interpreting contracts and agreements
• Participating in or leading meetings
• Planning and leading training on the unit's contracts and agreements
• Writing minutes and notes
• Providing input for future procurements

We are looking for someone who

• has a university or college education of at least 180 credits (120 points) with a relevant technical, civil engineering, or legal focus, or other education combined with relevant work experience that the Swedish Transport Administration deems equivalent
• has training and practical experience in construction law
• has extensive, preferably at least 5 years of experience working with contract follow-up and interpretation of the standard agreements AB04 and ABT06
• has good knowledge of Swedish and English
• has a driver's license for passenger cars

It is an advantage if you

• have experience working with contract follow-up and interpretation of the standard agreement ABK 09
• have worked as a contractor with similar tasks
• have pedagogical training or experience teaching others
