We are looking for Project Support for Construction Works at the Ferry Agency – Land Facilities for the Swedish Transport Administration.

This is a consulting assignment based in Stockholm.

The position is full-time and is expected to last for 4 months with the possibility of extension.

The assignment involves close collaboration with the client, which places high demands on flexibility and teamwork.

The Assignment

The role involves supporting the project with planning, monitoring, and coordination of maintenance and repair work at ferry terminals and ferry watch houses, as well as ensuring that technical, quality, environmental, and occupational health and safety requirements are met.

Responsibilities

Order contractors to carry out repair/maintenance work at ferry terminals.

Conduct construction meetings where technology, quality, environment, and occupational health and safety are followed up.

Order consultants to conduct various technical investigations.

Follow up on the consultant's work and present the results to relevant parties.

Order inspections above and below water and follow up on inspections and review more urgent action proposals.

Requirements (IMPORTANT, mandatory)

Ability to express oneself well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing.

Ability to independently carry out the tasks.

At least three project management assignments completed in the last 3 years.

Experience in interpreting/checking design results.

Master's degree in Civil Engineering or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering in Road and Water Construction or equivalent education deemed equivalent by the client.

At least 6 completed assignments with technical responsibility for construction works in the last 10 years. Of these 6 assignments, experience from at least 3 assignments must have involved facilities in a water environment. Sub-assignments within larger projects can be included in the number of assignments.

Experience in leading the subject area of construction works during design in corresponding projects (e.g., ferry terminals, ports, quays, bridges).

Experience from working in project groups where coordination has been important.

Good teamwork skills.

Driver's license B.
