We are responsible for the operation, leasing, and development of over a hundred sports facilities and bookable venues. The facilities are geographically spread throughout the municipality and encompass a wide variety of types such as playing fields, sports halls, ice rinks, skate parks, outdoor gyms, athletics areas, outdoor recreation centers, meeting rooms, dance studios, etc. Additionally, we collaborate with the community building office regarding outdoor facilities in the municipal districts.

Starting from September 1, we will take over the operation of Scaniarinken and Månsbrorinken. To optimize our organization, we are also launching a new organization on June 1, which involves the formation of a new operations group for the arenas. The new group will work specifically with Scaniarinken, Månsbrorinken, and Södertälje Football Arena, located in an arena cluster at the Wasa/Geneta area, and it is primarily for this group that the recruitment of positions is intended. A total of five positions (sports facility caretakers) will be filled in this recruitment.
 

Your Responsibilities

The operations group for the arenas will consist of a total of eight sports facility caretakers. One caretaker in the group will be responsible for performing daily management with administrative support from a coordinator who specifically works with the arenas.

Among your most common tasks are:
- With a service-oriented and pleasant attitude, establish good contacts with citizens, associations, and property owners in the arenas.
- Perform daily maintenance, minor repairs, and periodic upkeep in the arenas, including both ice maintenance and artificial turf maintenance to meet certifications, federation requirements, etc.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive safety measures such as systematic fire safety work.  
 

Who are you?

To meet our expectations and thrive in your role, we see that you already have substantial experience from arenas and elite sports facilities focused on ice sports and football. You have both knowledge of and a passion for providing the best possible service and conditions for our arenas to maintain the highest possible standards in all respects based on the conditions we have. It is also equally important that you see the value in being an important part of a larger context than just what happens in the arenas, as we have many facilities in our portfolio and you are the first, and in many ways the most important, line of contact with citizens in a politically governed operation.  

Requirements:
- Several years of experience in operation, maintenance, or service-oriented work in sports facilities.
- B driver's license.
- Swedish in spoken and written form.

Meritorious:
- Several years of experience in ice maintenance, especially beneficial if you also have training in ice making.
- Several years of experience in artificial turf maintenance, especially beneficial if you also have training in artificial turf maintenance.
- Several years of experience in operations-related work in arenas or elite sports facilities.
- Several years of experience in leading work, especially beneficial if you also have training in leadership.
- Basic knowledge of the Office suite.
- English in spoken and written form.
