About the position

As an HVAC Technician with us, you will be responsible for ensuring that the HVAC systems at Södersjukhuset function as they should. You will play an important role in creating a safe and functional healthcare environment – work that truly makes a difference. Your main tasks include:

• Managing planned maintenance of HVAC systems
• Responding to urgent faults and resolving them with a high level of service
• Carrying out pipe installations and working with substations
• Proposing improvements and reporting deviations

You will work both independently and in close collaboration with your colleagues. Our team consists of 23 dedicated technicians who describe themselves as helpful, solution-oriented, and always ready to support each other.

Working in a hospital environment is special – we plan our jobs so that patient care is disrupted as little as possible. This makes the role both challenging and meaningful.

The position involves placement in a security class. A security review with a background check according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) will therefore be conducted before a hiring decision is made.

About you

We are looking for someone who is independent and confident in their professional role, with a strong sense of service and the ability to think creatively when the situation demands it. You are a problem solver who cares about delivering quality in everything you do.

To succeed in this role, you have:

• Technical HVAC education or equivalent competence
• Several years of experience in HVAC work
• Experience with pipe installations, substations, and service (meritorious)
• Good computer skills, as all reporting is done digitally
• Driver's license B
• Very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
