Ljusdal Energi is a municipal-owned group with seven different companies. We are about 90 colleagues who all work diligently to make everyday life work for our customers in recycling, heating, electricity, broadband, water & sewage. We are now looking for a driver for the holiday period at Ljusdal Waste Management, which is responsible for garbage collection, bulky waste, sludge emptying, and our recycling center Åkerslund.

About the position

In the role of driver at Ljusdal Waste Management, you will work with the collection of various types of recyclable materials and household waste, including food waste. This is the role for you who enjoys working independently, taking responsibility, and thrives in physically demanding work. The job also includes:

• Inventory status of containers
• Daily supervision of the vehicle
• Reporting any deviations
• Customer contact.

The work is based at our recycling facility Åkerslund in Ljusdal. You will work alongside knowledgeable colleagues, but the job also involves a lot of personal responsibility. Once the daily route is completed and if time allows, you will also assist with other tasks within waste management at Åkerslund.

The position is a fixed-term full-time employment starting in May/June until the end of August 2026.

About you

You have a driver's license with C category and a valid professional competence certificate (YKB). Since you will be working in our traffic system, you need to be computer literate.

As a person, you are responsible, meticulous, and service-oriented. You have a good sense of direction and want to contribute with engagement, new ideas, and a desire to always satisfy the customer. We will place great emphasis on personal suitability.
