Your Role with Us

Our warehouse team currently consists of six employees who have three different main areas of focus in their work. A general description of the areas is:

• Goods Reception where we receive all deliveries of new goods, which are then registered in our operational system and sorted into their designated locations. Some assembly of aids for delivery also occurs here.
• Returns Reception that receives returns from our eleven partner municipalities, where aids are deregistered before they are either scrapped or sent to our reconditioning group.
• Order Management, i.e., picking orders made by one of the over 350 orderers among our customer municipalities.

We pick up to 100,000 items per year that are loaded into transport cages or as parcels for our customers. Among the items we pick are toilet seat raisers, walkers, rubber threshold ramps, stocking aids, hygiene products, wheelchairs, and sliding sheets. The warehouse also picks items internally for our technicians and consultants.

We offer you a full-time position from Monday to Friday.

The Aids Center East Skåne is located in the Ängamöllan industrial area, in close proximity to a bus stop.

Who Are We Looking For?

We are looking for someone who has completed a three-year upper secondary education or equivalent training as assessed by the employer. We want you to have experience working in a warehouse and goods reception. It is an advantage if you have product knowledge regarding aids and experience from service professions with customer contact.

All processes related to aids are documented in our operational system. Work is performed digitally in our operational system and must be reported correctly for the workflow to function both within the workplace and externally. This means you should be able to communicate fluently in Swedish, both spoken and written. You have good knowledge of Office programs and general computer skills. We prefer candidates with experience in operational systems. You should have a B driver's license; a forklift license B (counterbalance forklift) is an advantage.

As a person, you are flexible and meticulous, able to quickly adapt to new conditions, and you see opportunities in changes. At times, the workload is higher, so you need to be stress-resistant. You need to understand the flow within the organization. It is essential for you to deliver good service and high quality. You have the ability to plan and organize your work, but you also find it easy to set goals, organize resources, follow up, and complete activities. You are a team player.

Since there may be heavy lifting and some uncomfortable working positions, as well as a lot of movement during the workday, it is a requirement that you have good physical ability.

The Aids Center East Skåne (HÖS) coordinates the supply of aids for the municipalities of Bromölla, Östra Göinge, Osby, Hässleholm, Kristianstad, Hörby, Simrishamn, Sjöbo, Skurup, Tomelilla, and Ystad. These municipalities have come together in a joint board where Kristianstad municipality is the host municipality, and HÖS is organized under the social services administration. We are located at Kabelvägen 17 in Kristianstad, and we have 44 employees.

HÖS's mission includes providing purchasing, warehousing, technical service, consulting, testing, recycling, distribution, training, information, IT support, and environmentally friendly disposal of aids.

The social services administration's activities are aimed at the elderly and individuals who need functional support, as well as those requiring home healthcare. The administration is functionally divided into four operational areas: support in ordinary housing, support in care and nursing homes, health and medical care, and functional support. The administration also includes the authority unit, national gymnasium, and the aids center in East Skåne.
