Breaking Reporter Wanted for Dalslänningen, Säffle-Tidningen, and Provinstidningen Dalsland

We are now looking for a breaking reporter to work for Dalslänningen, Säffle-Tidningen, and Provinstidningen Dalsland.

The mission is to deliver fast, accurate, and relevant local journalism with the ambition to always stay one step ahead in news coverage.

About the Role

You will cover everything from accidents and serious violent crimes to municipal decisions, sports, culture, and current hot topics. The most significant and urgent matters are always prioritized first.

This means you will respond to alarms and maintain close contact with the police and rescue services. You publish quickly, with a clear angle and strong headline, and follow up and deepen the coverage when the news situation allows. In larger events, you are an integral part of the editorial team's efforts and contribute to maintaining the pace of the entire news flow.

About You

You have a strong sense of news and can prioritize correctly even when the pace is high. You are self-driven, quick, and linguistically confident. You create headlines that resonate, find angles that hold, and do not hesitate to pick up the phone when needed.

You will work closely with three editorial teams and therefore have an easy time collaborating. You share information, check in quickly, and contribute to keeping the entire editorial team one step ahead. You understand that breaking news work is a team effort where clear communication and trust are crucial.

Experience in news work is a requirement.
A driving license is a requirement.
