We are now looking for a summer substitute with a good sense for local news, reports, and the digital flow.

About us

We are a newsroom with four reporters working in Sunne and a desk reporter who works for both Fryksdalsbygden and Filipstads Tidning.

Fryksdalsbygden is part of Erna Media, which is a company within the Erna group.

The core of our operations is based on our societal mission to strengthen democracy and act as defenders of independent journalism. We contribute to an inclusive society where everyone can participate. Our strongest sustainability tool is journalism, where our newsrooms work daily to monitor and engage in issues related to freedom of expression and other sustainability-related matters.

About the role

Your tasks will involve working with news and reports on everything from accidents to municipal decisions, sports, entertainment, and culture.

About you

You should be self-driven, flexible, and have a sharp news sense. You are quick and linguistically secure, good at headlines and angles, and know what it takes for news to be read. Experience working with social media is an advantage. We expect you to have relevant education or experience in similar tasks. A driver's license is required.
