About Arvika Nyheter

Arvika Nyheter is the largest morning newspaper in Arvika and Eda municipalities. The print newspaper is published three times a week, but the website and app are updated with news 24/7, and we are also published on various social media platforms.

Arvika Nyheter is part of Erna Media AB, a company within the Erna Group that has a clear growth strategy for the coming years. Within the group, we operate in local journalism, marketing, distribution, and property management. We are present in Skaraborg, Dalsland, and Värmland.

The core of our operations is based on our societal mission to strengthen democracy and defend independent journalism. We contribute to an inclusive society where everyone can participate. Our strongest sustainability tool is journalism, where our editorial teams work daily to monitor and engage in issues related to freedom of expression and other sustainability-related matters.

About the role

We are looking for reporters for both the general and sports editorial teams. The focus is on straightforward and quick news reporting, and as a reporter with us, you will have varied and exciting tasks, ranging from hard news events to soft, light, and fun reports.

Being a reporter at a local newspaper is by far the best school for a student or newly graduated journalist. With us, you get to do it all!

About you

You are studying or have studied journalism or have experience in the journalistic craft. You are creative and used to taking responsibility. Experience with digital work is a plus. You are creative and used to taking responsibility and have worked with a camera before. A driver's license is required.
