Underground Service Tractor Driver

We are looking for an engaged and safety-conscious underground service tractor driver.

In this role, you will work with the movement of materials and support miners while collaborating with other departments to ensure an efficient and safe production process.

Responsibilities:

Movement of pumps and other large materials underground
Handling goods and moving diamond drilling rigs
Supporting miners in setting up ventilation curtains, etc., using a personnel lift basket (BK008)
Collaborating with electrical and production departments as well as contractors to optimize the production process
Reporting observations, risks, and incidents in the GRIA system
Actively contributing to your own professional development and ensuring that you have updated knowledge
Emptying waste and maintaining order in fixed facilities

Qualifications:

Experience operating wheel loaders or other heavy machinery
Certification in machine operation and underground experience is an advantage
Approved by MSB according to the Explosive Substances Act (2010:1011)
Proficiency in Swedish or English to understand and communicate effectively
Driver's license B is required.

At Björkdalsgruvan, located outside Sandfors Kåge, we mine gold ore in our underground mine. We are situated just outside Sandfors, nearly forty kilometers northwest of Skellefteå. On our site, we manage the entire mining process from prospecting, planning, and extraction to enrichment and waste management in the form of ponds.
