Lestanders Buss is a family-owned company in Skellefteå with 9 buses in its fleet. We primarily provide charter traffic and travel arrangements, but also some scheduled traffic. Quality and execution are a given for us, both regarding our buses and our staff. Some scheduled traffic occurs and must maintain the same high quality as charter traffic and travel arrangements.

Your Responsibilities

We are looking for staff for vehicle maintenance performed for another customer. This includes washing, cleaning, and refueling buses. In vehicle maintenance, you will work evenings and nights. You should have good knowledge of the bus's functions and be able to perform simple actions and minor repairs.

As a bus driver with us, you will meet travelers of all ages, from school children to retirees. You are the face of the company and represent it, both on the bus and on the road, and you are therefore expected to provide high service to all our travelers and ensure that both passengers and other road users feel safe with our buses. You are responsible for keeping the bus's schedule, but also for handling situations that arise if weather or traffic causes problems. Your responsibilities include good hospitality, where you may also act as a tour guide for a group. It is included to keep the bus in good condition during the day, as well as to clean the bus after your shift. Working hours vary and can involve a lot of weekend work. The position may also involve traveling with overnight stays.

We see the possibility of part-time employment if YKB is missing, as D-licence is sufficient for performing vehicle maintenance.

About You

For work in Vehicle Maintenance, you are service-oriented, efficient, and meticulous. You take responsibility for your tasks and appreciate order and cleanliness. You should have a D driver's license. Previous experience in vehicle maintenance or work as a vehicle mechanic is an advantage. Knowledge of Swedish is not a requirement, but you need to be able to make yourself understood, preferably in English.

As a bus driver, you have a welcoming demeanor, are outgoing, flexible, and quality-conscious. You enjoy both service and customer contact. It is important to handle stressful situations and environments calmly and securely. You have a safe driving style and strive to drive environmentally friendly.

To work with scheduled and charter traffic, you need to master Swedish in speech and writing. English and/or another language is an advantage. You have a D driver's license and a professional driver qualification certificate (YKB) and you will provide an extract from the criminal record.

We offer employment terms according to agreement (full-time, part-time, or temporary).

We have a collective agreement.
