Ljusdal Energi is a municipal-owned group with seven different companies. We are about 90 colleagues who all work passionately to make everyday life work for our customers in recycling, heating, electricity, broadband, water & sewage. We are now looking for a sludge truck driver for Ljusdal Renhållning, which is responsible for waste collection, bulky waste, sludge emptying, and our recycling center Åkerslund, from May to October 2026.

About the position

In the role of sludge truck driver at Ljusdal Renhållning, you will work with the collection and transport of sludge, primarily emptying individual sludge pits at private residences. This is the role for you who enjoys working independently, taking responsibility, and is comfortable with physical work, as the job can be physically demanding during the emptying of the sludge pits. The work also includes:

• Independently performing ordered tasks based on planned routes according to the schedule
• Inventorying pits
• Reporting any deviations
• Daily supervision and cleaning of the vehicle
• Customer contact

The work is based at our recycling facility Åkerslund in Ljusdal. You will work alongside knowledgeable colleagues, but the job also involves a lot of personal responsibility. Once the daily route is completed, and if time allows, you will also assist with other tasks within waste management at Åkerslund.

The position is a full-time seasonal employment from early May to the end of October 2026, with start date to be agreed upon.

About you

You have a CE driver's license and a valid professional competence certificate (YKB). Previous experience driving a truck is an advantage. Since all vehicles are usually operated with a single driver, it is beneficial if you have good local knowledge of the municipality.

As a person, you are meticulous, responsible, and keen on meeting customers in a friendly manner. Furthermore, you are a communicative person with good social skills who enjoys providing excellent service. We will place great emphasis on personal suitability.
