About the Role

As an LC Operator, you will work with preparatory handling and cutting/processing of low-activity material. The work is practical, varied, and conducted in close collaboration with other operators and technicians.

You may work with:

• Machine operation and material handling
• Cold processing, cutting, and preparatory tasks
• Quality control and documentation
• Ongoing collaboration to create safe and efficient processes

Here you will have a role with clear tasks in an environment where accuracy and safety mean everything.

 

Who We Are Looking For

You thrive in a practical role with structure, machine handling, and a focus on safety. You take responsibility, are meticulous, and work well both independently and in a team. The work is physically demanding, so you need to be in good physical condition and enjoy working with your body.

Requirements:

• High school diploma
• Computer proficiency
• Swedish & English
• Class B driver's license + car
• Ability to work 2- & 3-shift (as you will work between the SMA and Extension departments)
• Comfortable with working at heights (elevated work platform)

Meritorious:

• Experience from the industry
• Plasma cutting, gas cutting, oxygen lance
• Experience with melting furnaces or cold processing
• Forklift and overhead crane certification
• Hot work

The work location is Studsvik outside Nyköping, and the work is on-site. This recruitment process includes a background check that compiles previous public criminal records. The background check consists of public information that is handled confidentially. A security interview is also conducted where financial stability is a requirement.
