The Total Defence Ammunition and Mine Clearance Centre (Swedec) is part of the Swedish Armed Forces and serves as a national competence centre for ammunition and mine clearance operations on land, as well as military search services. Our operations are central to Sweden's defence, and we strive to meet every threat and overcome every challenge. About the Department
The Education Department is responsible for the educational process within ammunition clearance and military search services, training the Armed Forces' ammunition clearance leaders at various levels, and conducting training for other clients within Total Defence. The department consists of three training sections and a support section. The work environment is characterized by openness, accountability, participation, and a commitment to providing high-quality education.
Main Responsibilities
The main responsibilities for the EOD teacher include being an educator in EOD, preparing and participating in the validation of EOD teams for deployment, and developing training programs, courses, and course content. As an EOD teacher, you will be placed in one of the three training sections.
In the role of teacher, you are expected to independently or collaboratively drive educational and training activities within your area of responsibility. You will need to coordinate activities with the Armed Forces' ammunition and mine clearance units and corresponding functions at other authorities within the broader Total Defence, as well as with EOD functions from other nations.
As a teacher, you are a vital part of the Total Defence's development and maintenance of ammunition and mine clearance capabilities.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications
- Driver's license (B)
- Professional officer examination
- Ammunition clearance leader EOD
- Good ability to express oneself verbally and in writing

- Experience from international service as clearance leader CMD and IEDD
- Experience as an educator in EOD
