About the Position

Together with your colleagues, you will create, implement, and follow up on the individually designed intervention using social documentation as a tool for quality assurance. The work also includes providing support during activities such as bathing and walking. The position includes receiving delegation according to the Health and Medical Services Act.

Working hours are scheduled for days, evenings, sleeping on-call, and weekends according to a schedule.

We look forward to your application!

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has a degree from the Health and Care Program, Support Assistant Training, or the Child and Leisure Program with a focus on social or educational work. The educational requirement is also met if you have a post-secondary specialization in the disability field that includes at least 200 YH credits, 120 higher education credits, or a combination that corresponds to at least four semesters of full-time studies. Alternatively, 60 higher education credits and at least two years of experience working with support and services for people with disabilities. The education should have relevant credits in behavioral science, pedagogy, psychology, social work, and (psychiatric) care or other training that the employer considers equivalent.

Requirements for the position include experience in care work with individuals at an early developmental level. Experience in clear pedagogical methods and alternative communication (AAC) is also required. Experience working with individuals who have epilepsy is a must. You should be comfortable being delegated responsibility for medication, feeding tubes, PEP masks, and cough machines. Previous experience with feeding tubes, inhalation, suction, and cough machines is also advantageous.

All social documentation is done digitally, so you need to have good computer skills and be proficient in the Swedish language in both spoken and written form. Those who do not meet the qualification requirements in Swedish 1 or Swedish as a second language 1 may be offered to take a language test through the testing user Educateit.

As an applicant, you should easily adapt your working style, be responsible, have good communication and collaboration skills, and show sensitivity to both users and others you encounter in your work. You adapt your communication based on the recipient, target group, and situation. You listen to others to understand their needs.
