About the position

We at Perido are now looking for a school caretaker for our client, an organization within the city of Stockholm. The city of Stockholm is Sweden's largest municipality and home to over 980,000 Stockholmers. Every day, employees work to provide Stockholm residents with good service based on decisions made by the city council, committees, and company boards. The position is located at a school in Skarpnäck, and the working hours for the role are 06:45 – 15:00 with a 30-minute lunch.

Your responsibilities

As a school caretaker, you will have a central and important role in the daily operations of the organization with a focus on service. You will, among other things, address faults and deficiencies in the school's premises and be responsible for systematic maintenance, upkeep, and inspection of the school's properties. You will also work with systematic fire protection efforts and systematic work calendars, technical equipment, and act as a contact person for both internal and external partners. You will also be responsible for furniture arrangements and relocations, assembly and repair of furnishings, ordering various materials, and receiving goods.

The role also includes some technical tasks, such as helping to create access rights, arranging projectors, and other various simpler IT tasks. Other tasks may also arise, both practical and administrative in nature. In addition to practical tasks, an important part of the job is to create good relationships with students and teachers and to contribute to safety and well-being at the school.

Qualifications:

• Completed upper secondary education, preferably with a focus on technology and/or craftsmanship or equivalent experience deemed relevant by the employer
• Good computer skills and basic knowledge of the Office suite and other IT tools
• Good ability to perform simple repairs indoors and outdoors
• Experience in caretaker duties, property maintenance, or similar tasks deemed suitable by the employer
• The work may sometimes require higher physical effort, which means you are aware of this
• Work experience in school operations
• Administrative experience
• Experience with Agresso
• Experience working with SBA and self-checks
• Experience providing service to digital conference and teaching environments as well as technical equipment
• Good ability to express oneself in speech and writing in Swedish

Scope and start date

Full-time, consulting assignment for 3 months. Immediate start.
